Mark Cuban hit the nail on the head when it comes to great money habits. Mark Cuban’s advice to twenty somethings in a recent interview with Richard Feloni of Business Insider – live cheaply!

I only wish he would have substituted the word “frugal” for cheap. Why? Many people, particularly young and uniformed people, have strong negative feelings about the word cheap. What they may not fully appreciate is it is wise to make thoughtful choices with limited resources. When you describe someone as wise or prudent for being frugal you honor, empower and encourage them to make smart  choices.

What are your thoughts on frugality? Do you agree with Mark Cuban?

Frugal: careful about spending money or using things when you do not need to. -Merriam Webster
